How I decided on my group

 Welcome!

Today I will be breaking down my experience into choosing my group members to work on the Final Project.

On January 17, 2022 we started picking our group members and solidifying our picks. I knew that going into this project, I didn't want a big group. I wanted to pick people that I knew I could count on. I also wanted to work with people that I knew would be open with me, complete the work in a timely order, and communicate with me.

Taking all of that into consideration, I decided on working with

1. Sara Alexander (Component #1)

2. Jennifer Blandon (Component #2)

I believe that with the three of us, we will be able to rock this project! I think that we all work great together.

Although, it might be more work on our part because we are a smaller group. I think that we can handle it.

So yeah, that was basically my process of choosing. I wanted people who can keep each other on task and not get carried away with their friends.

When coming up with ideas for our opening scene, both of my group members were out because of Covid. I was able to get their contact information and start generating some ideas. But from the start, we have decided on doing a mystery and stuck with it. As for the ideas, we just kept building off from one another ideas.

We will ROCK this project!!

Timeline Process of My Final Project (Week By Week)

On January 12, 2022. In class, we started working on our final project. Which was to create a film opening (2 minutes) of any genre. My situation was different than those of my classmates.  The first thing we did in class, was decide on our group members.  January 12, 2022 I am working in a group of three, including myself. My two partners were unfortunately out because of Covid 19. Which only left me to work on the project. The first thing I made sure to do was, get their contacts from another friend. With that, I was able to start communicating with them. I made it an initiative to make them feel included, and kept them updated on what was going on in class. We messaged and came up with our genre. We all agreed on a mystery. We all enjoy solving problems and I have a very high curiosity for things.  After that, it was time to start working on our film ideas.  January 17,2022 We all pitched different ideas, but the one I picked ended up being the winner. We decided ...

All about Mystery !

Welcome and get ready for an adventure!  Today we will be focusing on the concepts and what goes into mysteries. Let's talk about settings What are the settings or locations where mysteries are filmed? Well. Mysteries are normally filmed in all different time periods. Mysteries are also normally set in various locations. You might mostly see forests, cemeteries, homes, buildings. But these locations can keep going on and on.  Not to mention,  Sometimes the mystery may take place in a magical or unusual place. Most mysteries use realistic or familiar places to make the viewer feel more connected to the story. The more connected you feel to the film, the more REAL it feels to you. As for the timeframe, mysteries are normally filmed in the day. Well, it depends on the TYPE of mystery. For a mystery with murder, it might happen at night or in the evening. Maybe even in the morning? You never really know. There is no specific timeframe, it depends on the storyline of the film....
